lonelygirl15 and my brother's music!

So, I don't know if any of you have been following this "lonelygirl15" youtube thing. She's got a video blog, it may be a viral marketing thing, whatever. So i was trying to stay up on pop / internet culture and i was watching some of her videos, when - whoa! one of my brother's songs started playing! it was a "remixed" version but it is totally his. super exciting.
here is the link

it plays when they start chopping up fish or whatever. yay grant!

Congrats to your bro, Sarah. Did he know it was going to be placed in advance? (Check out my blog for more on LG15)

No, he did not know anything about it until I forwarded him the link! He has a creative commons license on this song, so it's available for remix, but I don't even think he had heard this guy's version previously.

Oh! Is it all creative commons music? Because that pretty much blows a hole in the "record label viral" theory.

Here's what I've decided: they're both a little older than 16. It's loosely based on their lives, but formed into an interesting story.

Ya, I was thinking it might be an issue if it's any sort of "marketing" thing, since CC is strictly not for profit. Or at least we'd have a case if it turns out they are selling something!
